Old Navy Coupons 5/19

I can't believe it, I finally got an Old Navy Coupon. Go HERE and she tells you exactly how. Thanks to Bargain Mom for her hard work. The best ones are gone, but I got a 25% off.
It says, "Cannot be combined with any other offers." Does that mean that you can't use it on items already on sale?

Target Problems

Hopefully those of you who are trying to stack coupons at Target have not run into problems. Here is an interesting post you should read if you are a Target shopper. I have had problems using both and MC and a Target Coupon, but have never been escorted out of the store. You might want to be aware of these issues though if you are a frequent Target shopper. Go HERE to read an appalling account of shopping with coupons at Target.

Free Samples

This is definitely not as impressive as some people's free samples, but I just wanted to show that you actually do receive what you sign up for. I just started signing up for them so I am sure it there are many more to come. . There was also a free pull-up last week.

Rebate Checks

Rebates do Work!

Due to past experiences with rebates I was very skeptical to even try them again. You know the drill, fill out the paperwork, send in the original receipt, send in UPC codes, send this, send that and then you get a notification that you didn't so something correctly or didn't send something they asked you to in the fine print. I haven't done rebates for SO long. Then when I started shopping at these drugstores I thought I would give it a try again. Walgreens ended their Easy Saver Rebate program unfortunately, but Rite Aid still has theirs going. I was also very nervous to spend $70 upfront for the Staples paper and wait for a $60 return. They followed through though, no problems. I also received a $5 check from filling out a survey after I purchased a Digiorno flatbread melt. They had blinkies at Albertsons making one $1.50 so I decided to try one. At the register out popped a paper to fill out a survey for $5. I made $3.50 on the deal. Keep your eyes peeled for things like this when your receipt pops out. Sometimes you will be surprised!

Target Coupons

I did a little ground work with Target this morning. You all are probably going to read this and think I am crazy. I want to continue using coupons at Target and not have problems every time I go so hopefully I can help fix this problem there. I called Target corporate this morning and asked them the policy for a Target coupon that won't scan. They said that the cashier needs to try and enter the coupon manually. My cashier yesterday would not do that and handed me the coupon back and was not happy when I told her I didn't want the items if I could not use the coupon. I was pleasant and did not make a fuss which is really what you have to do when it doesn't work out with your coupons.

After talking to the corporate office this morning I called our Menifee Target and talked to the manager. I told him that I had come up again argument almost everytime I tried to use a Target coupon and a Manufacturer's coupon for one item at his store. I told him that I had emailed Target and have the policy in writing and that I had spoken with them today and that this policy is indeed real. He said that he did not know you could do this and that he would check into it as well and try and make sure the cashier's know this. I then told him that my cashier yesterday would not manually enter my Target coupon and he told me that they are supposed to do it this way if they will not scan. He said he would try and fix these situations. Hopefully these phone calls will help us out with the cashier's a little bit. Maybe I am the only one trying to do this there, but hopefully if you are trying without success also this will help. It seems like no big deal until you are standing in line with a cashier who doesn't know the rules and fighting with 3 kids at the same time :)

Target Coupons

Target Printable Coupons
Hey gals. I went out on an adventure to Target tonight with no kids. It's SO much calmer by yourself when you can actually calculate and figure out your deals. I figure things out before I leave, but often the prices at Target are different than a lot of the gals have posted on their sites. Most times other areas have lower prices than we do, that's a bummer. I did find get Ritz crackers for $.99, a box of the 100 calorie pack snacks for free, 4 Barbecue sauces for free, the individual easy mac for $.27 each. (Check the link in the Kraft coupon post below to find out how I did it. She has the coupons to use listed and how to get them.) Here is the sad part of my trip. Here I have NO kids and I am enjoying my shopping and...some of my Target coupons refused to scan. No matter what the gal did they just would not beep. So I had her take off those items. (The smartfood popcorn, Ranch dressing, and one of the 100 calorie packs, darnit.) She said that they cannot punch in the numbers on the printables that they have to scan. The other day a lady did punch them in for me so I do not know the real policy. I emailed Target and hopefully they will tell me what their policy is on this. I don't understand how some of my Target printables scanned and others did not. I printed them all today with a new ink cartridge. I printed out the ones that didn't work in color tonight and will make it back to try again later this week. I was planning on trying again anyway because the snack pack boxes were pretty much cleaned out. I wanted to see if they will restock them. Some of the items that do not match up with some of the posts we have read were the Ranch dressing, the Crystal Light and the Ritz Crackers. The regular size Ranch was $2.29, not $1.59 as posted (there is a smaller one for $1.79 though), the Ritz Crackers are $2.99, not $2.04 and the Crystal Lights were $3.99, not $2.99. Hopefully this information helps you if you are planning a trip out for the sale items at Target this week. In the end I got 2 boxes of Ritz, 8 single packs of Easy Mac, 1 100 calorie box, Quaker True Delight Granola Bars, 4 Kraft BBQ sauce, 2 Kraft Shredded Cheese, and 2 Beef Jerky for $11.00. Would have been $4.50, but my husband insisted on Jerky for the Father son outing.
